After opening up about subjects like growing up suffering beatings from his Nazi father and the ‘crushing’ moment he had to tell ex-wife Maria Shriver about his ‘love child’, Arnold has also reflected on how his parents once questioned his sexuality.
In one of the episodes, Arnold said his mother had ‘freaked out’ at the thought that he might be gay because he had pictures of oiled-up bodybuilders on his bedroom wall.
It all began with his dreams of becoming a bodybuilder after seeing English bodybuilder Reg Park play Hercules in a series of movies in the 1960s.
