Chris Bosh Says He Doesn’t Want To ‘Bang With Anybody Anymore’
After shootaround on Saturday, with the Heat preparing for Game 3 of the Eastern Conference finals (8:30 p.m. ET, ESPN), Bosh was particularly forthright in regard to the player he’s become. When asked about the possibility of posting up Luis Scola should he see that matchup, Bosh said that it ain’t gonna happen.
“I don’t bang with anybody anymore,” he said. “It’s a tired thing for me. It’s not my energy and I realize that. So, be smart and perform within the team offense, but be aggressive at the same time.”
When asked why he doesn’t post up, he said it’s a matter of drive. Simply, he uses too much on the other close of the floor as the Heat’s primary pick-and-roll defender in their assertive scheme.
“It gets tiring,” he said. “What they ask us to do, to blitz the screen-and-roll every single one, close out and get back. I was already 20-30 pounds lighter than everybody else, so all that stuff just takes my energy.” […]
But Bosh added that it’s not worth his time going into the post, because that just brings extra attention from the defense.

Chris Bosh Fires Support at Gay Accusations

Miami Heat star Chris Bosh handles his business on the basketball court as his team is operational towards possibly winning another NBA championship, but people on social media manage to clown the athlete on a personal level. In particular, his sexuality is the aim of numerous memes, and now Bosh is opening up about how he feels about it.
He tells ESPN:
“That’s the venom. For a while, they were questioning my sexuality. They still act. They were questioning my sexuality, questioning my game. And I’m like, ‘Why are they all messing with me?’ I didn’t execute anything to anybody. I didn’t undertake nothing. I just came here to play basketball. And they’re like, ‘Oh, he’s not a real superstar.’ I never cared about being a superstar.”
Bosh then goes on to say he feels folks wouldn’t question his sexuality if he acted like a thug:

Chris Bosh, the 30-year-old Miami Heat forward, is defending himself against false homosexuality rumors.
After Bosh joined the Heat in 2010, he came under scrutiny. Now, the five-time NBA All-Star is opening up about people spreading false rumors about him.
"That's the venom. For a while, they were questioning my sexuality," Bosh told ESPN. "They still complete. They were questioning my sexuality, questioning my game. And I'm like, 'Why are they all messing with me?'"

He went on to question why people would spread incorrect stories about him, insisting that he wanted to focus on his craft.
"I didn't do anything to anybody. I didn't accomplish nothing," Bosh said. "I just came here to play basketball. And they're like, 'Oh, he's not a real superstar.' I never cared about organism a superstar."
The basketball actor went on to phone the entire situation deranged, insisting that there was no way for him to please people.

Miami Heat center Chris Bosh claims that people would not question his sexuality if he was more a gutter hood rat than a clean sever b-baller that he is now.
