The main darkroom becomes your stable. Mares (bottoms) enter blindfolded. Stallions (tops) trails in waves, starving and ready. Our team of stablemasters will keep things safe, sane and sweaty.

Mares enter between 5:00 and 5:30 pm.
Stallions enter in two waves:

  • First wave: 5:30 till end
  • Second wave: 6:30 till end

Frequently Asked Questions

Thanks for asking, here are the Ticket types and what they mean:

Stallion

Our Tops are having fun with all the Mares. Stallions have to follow all guide from the StableWrangler & his Team.

Mares

You are there for the Pleasure of the Stallions and the StableHands on break. The Mare Ticket is our Bottom ticket, and you will use for a lottery to get a Ticket (more about the lottery and how ticket sales work here).

Golden Ticket

It is complicated for foreign Guests to join the Balanced from outside of the USA, or there might be other reasons that joining the lottery for Mare Tickets doesn't work. If you apply for this ticket and it is granted, you will skip the lottery. The amount of Golden Tickets is very small, and if they are not claimed, we randomly throw them into the ticket system, and a privileged Mare might be able to grab them. I also recently learned that it is complicated for guys who are active in the military to get free period approved. So if you are not stationed in the same town as we are having the HorseMarket, you are eligible as well for a Golden Ticket.

But be aware that this Ticket is way more expensive than a regular ticket

Ticket & Registration opens 05/10 6:15 PM PST

When tickets go on sale for a Horse Market event, Stallion and Mare's tickets are sold differently:

Mare Tickets are sold via a lotto. Mares will click the city they want to attend below and then click the button for tickets. Then, it will seize you to the Waiver build.  Fill that out and that will put you on the Mare lotto list. You then just close the page or you may purchase a Stallion ticket and attend as a Stallion. You can then inquire at check-in if there are any Mare no-shows and we can swap you over but this is no guarantee. This lotto is to ensure we have the perfect Stallion-to-mare ratio.

Stallion tickets are on sale and can be purchased anytime by filling out the waiver form.

As Stallion tickets are sold, we will randomly choose and email people on the list to purchase a ticket. They will have 24/12 hours to purchase the ticket before we relocate to the next person. Yes, we could sell all Mare tickets from the start, but if only X Stallion tickets are sold, then the ratio is way off, and it's not a fun party.

Once all the Mare spots are filled, we will not be capable to email everyone else on the list to let them kno

Study praising group sex at SF ‘Horse Market’ follows higher ed trend to normalize illicit queer outing in name of inclusion

Two academics in the Merged Kingdom have concluded that an organized group sex event in San Francisco provides “a protected space” for gay men, in a world where “queer culture” is being “commercialized” by heterosexuals.

This follows a trend of American universities pushing nontraditional sexual behavior, such as the University of North Carolina publishing an interactive map featuring historical campus sites for anonymous homosexual sex. In December, a Penn State professor encouraged his straight students to “watch gay and lesbian porn” to prove to students that “[w]e’re all, very much, easily bisexual.”

Lindsey Gaston and Laura Dixon, both affiliated with Liverpool John Moores University, investigated 15 testimonies of gay men in a July 28 study titled “Calling All Mares: Community, Identity, and Group Sex at the San Francisco Horse Market.”

All 15 men attended an event known at the San Francisco Horse Market, in which participants occupy in organized group sex.
