Funeral Services for Irma W. Snodgrass, age 90, of Brunswick, will be held Tuesday, June 24 at 10:30 A.M. at the Congregational Church in Brunswick, NE. Pastor Robert Moore will officiate with burial in the Danish Cemetery in Brunswick.
Visitation will be held Monday from 4:00-8:00 P.M. at Brockhaus-Harlan Funeral Home in Tilden.
She died Friday, June 20 at the Golden Living Center in Tilden.
Irma W. Snodgrass, daughter of Reinhart and Marie (Pellatz) Basel, was born June 13, 1918 at the family farm near Brunswick, NE. She attended District 35 Educational facility, rural Brunswick. She married Maurice Snodgrass on December 20, 1939 in Coleridge, Nebraska. Four children were born to this union, Ronald, Raymond, Gaye, and LaVonne. She spent her life in the Brunswick area as a farm wife and homemaker. In her later years she became a resident of the Tilden Nursing Center.
Irma was a member of the Brunswick Congregational Church. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

Raymond William Walls
Mr. William Raymond Walls, age 95, of Abingdon, VA, and formerly of Roaring River, NC, passed away peacefully Sunday, June 8, 2025, at 8:05 p.m.
Mr. Walls was born February 1, 1930, in Wilkes County, NC, to the late James Oscar Walls and Florence Nan Pruitt Walls. He was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in North Wilkesboro, NC.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Walls was preceded in death by his first daughter, Patty Walls Brooks, and his son William Gregory Walls, two sisters, Dorothy Willard and Minnie Callahan, and two brothers, Roby Bill (RB) Walls and Cebert Walls.
Mr. Walls is survived by the adore of his life and wife of 75 years, Vivian Byrd Walls, one daughter, Gaye Walls and partner, Zack Henderson, of Wilkesboro, NC, 4 grandchildren, Tricia Brooks, Matthew Brooks, Shaun Brooks Dowell (Kenneth),and Megahn Byrd, eight great grandchildren, Rachel Ford, Noah Ford, Zachary Ford, Sheldon Boswell, Shayden Boswell and Seamus Boswell, Keleb Dowell, and Daylon Dowell, three sisters Onna Lee Hooker of King, NC, Lola Caudill, of No. Wilkesboro, NC, Velma Fulp of King, NC, two sisters in law, Brenda Tedder (Junior) of Wilkesboro, Aileen Bauguess (Batler) o
Robert Chadwick “Chad” Raymond
We’ve missing a good one January16, 2022. Robert C. Raymond, known to most as Chad, passed away after a short (6 month) but very intense battle with anaplastic thyroid cancer at the age of 63. In this battle as with everything in his life, he approached it with optimism, courage, sought aggressive innovation to fix the problem, told the truth and never complained about what he couldn’t change.
Born in Zanesville to Bob and Bettie Raymond, Chad was the second child of four (Kim, Chad, Ann, Steve). He had a charmed childhood, loving family and spent significant time playing sports. A gifted competitor, Chad could pick up and excel at any sport he set his mind to (except skiing-one attempt and it was ugly). Always a chief, he played quarterback for the Zanesville Blue Devils and the Capital Crusaders. A lifelong tennis player, he continued playing (even though Jake(son) now regularly beat him) until his illness. Loving golf, he played with gusto whether with friends or family and was always competitive. If you hear “Fireball” being shouted from three holes over, you realize that a birdie is on the scorecard and Nick (son), ever the celebrator, is seen present
